About Us

We are South Sefton Primary Healthcare, a GP Federation made up of 28 practices in south Sefton. A GP Federation is a group of general practices that work together to share resources, expertise and services to deliver high quality, patient focussed services for its communities.

• Support for our practices - We work together to provide support for our practices through the sharing of resources and services, for example with recruitment and training. We hold regular member practice meetings to come together and raise issues and review our priorities and progress.

The GP Extra Service is staffed by a skilled, multi-disciplinary team who specialise in different areas, so depending on your need you may see a different healthcare professional.

Our team is made up of GPs, advanced nurse practitioners, practice nurses, physiotherapists, first contact practitioners and health care assistants.
